Buenos Aires-born photographer Sofía Alvarez is known for creating intimate images in both her personal work and her editorial/commercial work. Her images are often carefully composed with a highly attuned sense of color, and composition.

Alvarez’s editorial collaborations include W Magazine, Elle, WWD, and Instyle, amongst others. Her recent advertising work includes campaigns for Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, Parade, Chufy, The Webster, Recess, Melissa, and Puma.
